Episode 26 of Eureka 7 is awesome. I love it to bits. It's one of only three episodes of anime
that have ever had me cheering out loud (the others being episodes 26 and - I think - 25 of
RahXephon). I've watched a lot of anime in the past two days; ten (ish) episodes of Excel Saga
yesterday, eight of Eureka 7 today. I know I blasted Excel saga a few weeks back for being silly
and repetitive, but once you get to about the last 6 episodes, it's really good (ie. once it
develops a plot). Eureka 7... well, let's just say that there was a period of about four
episodes where I came to completely despise a certain important character, but then the
aforementioned episode 26 came along and made me happy again ^_^

What else is there to talk about? I'm busy trying to learn a speech to give as part of tomorrow's
RPGsoc session (it's war! ^_^), which is both fun and frustrating. I've switched film projects,
too; the plan was to work on Dealing With Dad before Easter (the one I've been talking about
for the past month), then go on to a project of my own immediately afterwards (the one I
wrote straight after the first time I marathoned Boogiepop). However, because Dealing With Dad
has now been put back to the time I wanted to make A Beautiful Romance in, I've brought ABR
forwards and I'm currently working on it right now. It's a very simple film to put together, but
I have one problem; I need to find a couple of actors. The characters in the film are a goth
girl and a fairly ordinary trendy-type guy, both students. If anyone who reads this knows an
actor they think might be interested in/able to do one of those roles based in Liverpool,
please put said actor in touch with me/put me in touch with them. Thanks!

Anything else? I drew today's comic in about two hours yesterday morning while doing my laundry,
which is why it's less than perfect, but I hope it's still passable. I'm sorry I gave the
impression there was going to be a separate plot involving Tink on Monday; I was just screwin'
with ya. I'm not sure what's happened to Mike's head in the last panel; it looks like it's
been squashed. I'm not yet back in my groove, but I'm getting there. Bear with me...

'Til next time,

Rik
