Well, hasn't it been an interesting couple of days? Lessee, what's happened. Oh, yeah, Iriya
no Sora, UFO no Natsu (Iriya's Sky, Summer of UFOs). It's an OAV, six episodes long. It's a
bit like if you took the RahXephon and the Dolems out and focused it on the love story. As a
love story, it's beautiful. As animation, it's beautiful. As a story, it's at once curiously
stunted and gloriously epic. So here's what I'm going to do, 'cuz everyone should see it.
According to my hit counter, I get an average of 18 unique visits a day. This morning, I'm
going to stick Iriya back up on bitcomet and reseed through the animeyume torrent (the whole
batch one), and I'm going to leave it seeding until it's sent out enough data for 18 copies
of the files. That means all of you have to download it. If it's sent out all 18 copies by
this time next week, you get a special piece of art. I'm not sure what, yet - it might be
Iriya fan-art, or it might be something Drunken Scribblings - but you'll get something. All
in exchange for watching an anime I rank alongside RahXephon, Boogiepop and .Hack//Sign.
Where's the loss in that deal? ;)
Eureka 7 continues awesome; episode 31 came available this evening, and I'm willing to bet
I was in the first 100 people to watch it. Anyway, it's awesome. And bizarre. And it rocks.
The story just got a lot bigger, and it was big enough to start with.
What else? Oh, yeah, notice anything about today's comic? I revamped the character designs
for Mike, MCG and Brian, though you can hardly tell with Brian. I got fed up of all that hair
on Mike, for one thing, and a number of people have expressed doubts about the way MCG's
hood fits over his head. So, ch-ch-ch-changes! Hope you like it.
That's about it, really. Now, to find out whether or not I can put together a cosplay costume
in a day...
