Well, it's been a busy weekend.. kinda. Saturday was very busy. Sunday, not so much. Saturday:
I got up, collected stuff together, transported my guitar (acoustic), my 4 hardcover D&D books
(heavy), a bunch of other books and games, and myself all the way home, spent the afternoon
with family and family friends, then went to Paul's cosplay party in Manchester. It was great
fun, even if I did have to leave tragically early (to catch a train; I didn't ruin this party,
at least...). There's a couple of photos below; one of Paul as Ed from Full Metal Alchemist
with Foz as Nabeshin from Excel saga (cute couple, huh? ^_-), and one of me as Soubi from
Loveless (crap costume, but assembled in an afternoon on a budget of 0, so not bad considering)
hugging Spike as Shinji from Evangelion, 'cuz let's face it, Shinji needs a hug. Or several...
Not much else to say; I've already recommended Jigoku Shojo, but I'd like to reiterate that
it's brilliant. Immensely Boogiepop/Paranoia Agent, but I love both those shows, so that's
ok.
I know today's comic is a bit of a cop-out, but I figured since you were getting cosplay pictures
you wouldn't mind. I promise a more interesting page on Wednesday. At least this one has
flashy digital effects...
