It's been a quiet weekend. Saturday was taken up with drawing Saturday's comic (sorry for the
delay, guys! If you missed Saturday's page, make sure you take a look, 'cuz there was quite
an important announcement in the rant), then anime. I've finally gotten round to getting up-
to-date with Jigoku Shojo, which (despite the fact that the first five episodes are almost
exactly the same in every significant way) is getting very intriguing. The plot could do with
moving a little faster (episode 12 and I'm still only at the 'intrigued' stage; there just
aren't enough hints to start speculating on yet), but the art is phenomenally pretty and it's
exactly the right kind of creepy-weird.
I spent Sunday drawing this page, listening to keencasts (the Dan Shive and Jeff Darlington
ones, both of which were amusing and insightful, if a little bizarre), reading Saiyuki manga
(which is still brilliant after 6 volumes - and I realised that Sanzo *is* Mike from PV, or
possibly vice versa), watching the end of Sukisyo (the plot is very cool, the OAV is very
*very* cracky, and the whole thing is *still* inordinately cute ^_^) and reading the Loveless
manga volume 1 (at last). It's surprisingly different to the anime - Ritsuka's a bit more
likeable and a bit less bratty for one thing. (I'm going to have to hide from most of my
friends for the next two weeks for calling Ritsuka bratty...)
Anyway, today's page; I tried to make it funny, but it just ain't happening. I've never been
good at comedy, only weird shit... As to where Little Thing is, excuse me while I giggle
evilly ^_^ T3h plot! Ph34r t3h plot!
I think that's about it for now...
