Well, it's Monday and we're back to normal. I really struggled to write this page. Really,
really struggled. I know what has to happen next, and I know what has to happen in the long run,
I just could not figure out a segue between Wednesday and this week. And then when I finally
did manage to produce a script, I had to spend Friday packing and Saturday moving back to
Manchester. It's a hard life...

Not much to say today, really; I've discovered that apparently BitComet is an evil program
that does some bad stuff to peers (I didn't really understand the technical stuff, it's just
that it's apparently banned on some trackers, so there must be something wrong with it), so
I've switched from it to uTorrent, which is working just fine and got down the 13th episode
of Jigoku Shojo for me in a quite acceptable period of time (particularly considering how
grotesquely unstable our home connection is). Have I raved about Jigoku Shojo? I know I haven't
recently, and I have to say episode 13 is one of the best and most interesting yet; the
very repetitive formula from which the show occasionally suffers is chucked completely out
the window and the whole thing switches direction and perspective. Refreshing and entertaining
without being too much of a shock to cope with.

What other news was there? Oh, yeah, I've started working my way through Zelda: The Wind Waker
again, just for the holiday. I'd forgotten how compelling it is. It's a really engaging game
(ok, the writing's occasionally a little twee, and the cut-scenes are way too long, but the
actual gameplay is fantastic, and the graphics are still stunningly fluid), and I suspect that
my productivity might suffer a bit. I don't plan to miss an update while the holidays are on,
though.

'Til next time,

Rik
