Well, I just finished a 7-episode marathon of Jigoku Shojo with Kara. Episodes 17 and 19 are
brilliant, but 18 and 20-23 are still dogged by the formulaic problem it's had all along.
Still, it looks like being a 26-episode series, so they've only got three episodes left to
finish off the plot in. Could be interesting...
What else is there to say? Oh, I tried out .Hack//Roots on Saturday, even though I was a little
dubious that they could recreate the original magic of //Sign. I have to say I was impressed;
though all the characters have changed (sniff), the animation is attractive without losing
the sense of the World, and the mysteries are just as intense. This time, they might even
manage a satisfactory ending.
Onto more relevant matters; today I finally posted my promo on the Comic Genesis message board.
If you're reading this because you saw the ad, welcome to the site and I hope you enjoy your
visit (I apologise for how bad the early archives are; please bear with them because it does
get better). Also, with page 100 going up on Saturday, I'm hoping to have something special
to go with it - I can't promise anything, because I do have two exams this week, but there's
little I love more than celebrating milestones, so there should at least be something.
Today's comic... well, it's a bit of a disappointment after Wednesday's, I have to admit, but
I hope the image of 5'6" Mike dangling from the 8' high shoulder of an alien emperor makes up
for it a little. As for how he got there? Not telling... ^_^ Exposition later this week...
