Prismatic Vodka #84 Friday July 7th 2006 "Sing-song silliness" copyright 2005 Rik Davnall, all rights reserved Jacob is copyright 2005 Justin Llamas of LOGO - please don't sue me! Rik_the_Riff@hotmail.com - email me! Well, it's the magical page 123, and it's going out on 07/07/06 - two pretty cool numbers in one day, huh (I have this weird fascination with the number 7... ^^;). I have to say I'm pretty pleased with this page, particularly the second cell. For the first time, I'm actually happy that I've got Mike right in 1/4 profile. The dude on the poster in the last panel is Jacob from LOGO, who I borrowed without permission because I'm feeling random like that. It's not a terribly good drawing, though, so why not slide over to LOGO and check out what he's actually supposed to look like? I got the job at the library, by the way, so I can't promise to keep up my punishing update schedule going all summer - I'm working 35 hours a week for the next nine weeks, so art time is going to be short. I'm working pretty hard to build up a buffer at the moment - currently I'm working on the page for a week from today, and I hope by the end of the weekend to be up to a week after that, but I'm not going to make too many promises. On the anime front, I managed to squeeze in another two episodes of Eureka 7, bringing me back up to date. It's an awesome show when it gets going, and the really important part of the finale hits in the next episode. Plus, Sakuya is so *cute*. Speaking of cute, I rewatched Suzumiya 14 again; I couldn't quite believe how good it was, and I was worried that I was looking at it through rose-tinted specs, but I wasn't. It really *is* that good (and I still cheered ^_^). That's it for now, LH tomorrow! Wub, Rik ![]() ![]()
