Okay, here is more Zobbo melodrama. Parts of this script are important, but most of it is me
being self-indulgent as a writer (I mean, come on, 'it's time to go swimming in the abyss'?
cliche much? ^_--). Still, at least we're moving the plot along. And I get to do a funky
'this is your brain on Hyperspace radiation' dream sequence. Maybe. Depending on how I feel
this morning in my philosophy of religion lecture, which is normally when I write and draw
Sunday's Zobbo page (yeah, lecture, shush. It's the cosmological argument and teleological
argument tomorrow. I know them so well I can literally express them backwards. And in a way that
still makes grammatical sense. :p)
In other news, the funeral was a very dignified affair, and short enough that Grandad, a man
never keen on ceremony and formality, would have approved. I could write a very great deal
about the day's effect on me, but that's for my diary, not my blog. My thanks, however, to my
immediate and extended family, and all of Grandad's other acquaintances who turned out to bid
him a fond farewell, and especially to my father for mustering up the courage and strength to
give a spot-on eulogy.
What else? Well, I'm ill again, which is hampering (but so far not stopping) my drawing. I have
a band practice this evening that I'm very much looking forward to. I now have in my room a
piece of Games Workshop history (older than me!) in the form of an Advanced Heroquest miniatures
roleplay gaming original box set, so expect reports of sessions of that soon (assuming I get
organised). I bought the full version of Garage Games' Think Tanks, which is very good, if
frustratingly difficult. That's it for now, see you tomorrow when the cameo madness continues
in Prismatic Vodka!
Wub,
Rik
