High prelate Theiaus (sp?) and the Reavers (this particular brand, anyway - down, Whedon fans, down! ^_--) are copyrights of Luke Turner, creator of the Foxfire Chronicles. He's very kindly lent me them and some other stuff for the purposes of the Crossover Wars Go read his comic, it's ace.

I'm not terribly happy with this page. I suck hardcore at proper anthro, so my versions of the Reavers here fail. I think I'm going to cut back on the cross-hatched shading, because I'm terminally bad at it. Mind you, it might turn out better if I wait until I've slept properly before drawing another page (shaded this one while 4 hours behind on sleep at the end of a long day on Tuesday..)

I've gotten into a slump. It's mostly the not sleeping, but I just can't seem to get anything done. I had a hell of a struggle with Saturday's page yesterday afternoon; as I write it's sat on my desk with the pencils about a quarter done. I blame other people... ^_-- Even the large quantities of chocolate I'm consuming don't seem to help (I have a bucket of chocolate fingers bought cheap from the convenience store round the corner)... I think I just miss drumming. I'm back in the practice room (finally) this evening, which should make things a bit better. Gotta survive two hard seminars for which I've done no prep work first though...

Oh, the hardships... A wave hello to my friends of the Merseyside Comics Forum, with whom I had an interesting discussion last night at the first of their monthly meetings I've been able to attend. It's always good to talk to comic people ^_^
