Yes, I know the big ship in panel 1 looks kinda like Battlestar Galactica. Don't blame me, Turnsky
designed it ^_-- He also designed some of the other ships on this page. The new arrivals are from
FLEET of the College Roomies From Hell forums, and I have no idea how to link, reference or properly
attribute them. Damn this cross-format madness! ^_-- To track down *why* they've appeared, you'll
want to go here.
I am really pleased with this page. For the first time, I've felt *comfortable* drawing spaceships,
though I'll admit the designs I'm using are getting simpler and simpler... Still, for something
drawn late on Sunday night in the middle of a postwar on the Soccer is Full of Cheese forum, it's
pretty good.
I've finally started revising! Which is to say I sat down and started going through some disorganised
notes, organising them. I lasted about half an hour. But to be fair, I've had a stuffed head all
day from not sleeping enough over the weekend. I'll get more done tomorrow.
Anyone reading the new Buffy 'Season 8' comics? They're really very good... I bought issue 3
yesterday, and I gotta say, I can't wait for June 6th and issue 4. This is Joss Whedon back on his
game in a really big way; much sharper-witted and less gritty than Firefly, and with the whiny
emoness of later seasons of Buffy tuned wayyyy back to more manageable, less annoying levels. Oh,
and finally a decent way of handling the character of Dawn ^_--
You may have noticed a minor change to the site design; with the sad demise of the Webcomic Fantasy
Banner exchange, I had a large gap in my layout table which took some severe thought to close. For
now, I'm plugging my dead forums (they need love! Go on, help them out!), but I'm considering maybe
getting a Project Wonderful banner or something. Got an opinion on what I should do with the space?
Gimme a shout!
Wub,
Rik
